Wedding - Destination Weddings - Elopements FAQ

FAQ

How long does it take to get our photos delivered?

I know how exciting it feels to wait for your photos! Therefore, the day after your wedding you will receive a small preview of your images. The full gallery will be ready within 4 to 6 weeks depending on your package. I will work really hard to have your images ready before this time-frame.

Am I allowed to print my own photographs?

Of course! In our contract, I include a print release stating that you may print the images as you please. I will, however, not be responsible for the quality of these prints.

What if we're getting married abroad?

I would love to join! I specialize in Destination Weddings and thankfully I am located at the center of Europe, making it easy for me to travel to photograph your big day. I usually make personalized packages for Destination Weddings, but you are welcome to choose one of the packages above, plus travel costs. Travel costs include transport to the destination as well as accomodation for the night prior and of the wedding. I may decide to fly in early and pay for accomodation myself for the extra days.

Do you travel within The Netherlands?

Of course! I would be happy to travel for your big day! My packages include travel within The Netherlands.

Where are you based?

I am located in Alkmaar, a small city near Amsterdam, in The Netherlands. I am therefore located right in the heart of Europe, close by one of Europe's biggest airport, making it easy for me to photograph weddings all across the globe.

What languages do you speak?

I speak French and English fluently. I have a basic knowledge of Dutch.

Why should we hire you and not a local photographer for our destination wedding?

If you see beauty and love the way I do, then I believe we would be a great match. I focus on candid and raw emotions while offering you the guidance you need to have flattering images. Hiring me for your destination wedding or elopement would also mean easier communication prior to the big day. Perhaps no language barrier as well. When travelling for a destination wedding I also make it a priority to do my research on the best locations. Travelling for you also means more flexibility on my side.

Not only do I get greatly inspired by new surroundings, but most of my favourite work has been produced in a new environment.
